Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Better Freeze platform (“the Service”) operated by ENVLOP Inc. (a company incorporated in Japan) (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Services

Better Freeze is an independent coordination and information platform for fertility and reproductive healthcare. Our services include:

• Transparent modeling of fertility treatment costs;
• Translation and interpretation between users and medical institutions;
• Organization of information and coordination support;
• Display of publicly available third-party medical data (e.g., CDC, SART, official clinic websites).

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and we are not a licensed medical institution or agent under Japanese law. Our activities are limited to information organization, communication support, and interpretation.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to: (i) provide accurate and lawful information; (ii) refrain from uploading or transmitting false or misleading content; (iii) obtain appropriate authorization before sharing personal or medical data; (iv) use the Service solely for lawful, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: (a) use the Service for unauthorized medical consultation, solicitation, or sales; (b) misrepresent yourself as a healthcare professional; (c) engage in unlawful data access, spam, or harassment; (d) modify or reproduce Service content without authorization.

5. Fees and Payments

Certain coordination or interpretation services may incur fees, shown before purchase. All fees are billed only to the end user, not to hospitals or clinics. We do not receive any commission, referral, or success-based compensation from medical institutions. Payments are processed via secure third-party systems (e.g., Stripe). Fees are non-refundable once services have commenced, unless required by law.

6. Medical Disclaimer and Third-Party Information

(a) No Medical Advice. All materials—including cost estimates, treatment summaries, or clinic data—are for general informational purposes only and arenot a substitute for professional medical advice.

(c) No Guarantee of Outcomes. Treatment results vary. ENVLOP Inc. assumes no responsibility for clinical outcomes, communication errors, or interpretation differences.

7. Intellectual Property

All texts, graphics, code, and design elements are the property of ENVLOP Inc. or their respective owners. Reproduction, modification, or redistribution is prohibited without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Japanese law, ENVLOP Inc. shall not be liable for: (i) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; (ii) inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information from CDC, SART, or clinics; (iii) miscommunication or delay between users and third-party institutions; (iv) losses from reliance on third-party/public information. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the relevant service.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI). We obtain explicit consent before handling any sensitive or medical data.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court. If you access the Service from outside Japan, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
